Dana Burns is an accomplished marketing and corporate communications professional with more than 20 years of expertise in developing and executing all aspects of strategic communications initiatives that generate revenue and build brand recognition. She is an an articulate communicator and astute motivator, with strong leadership and relationship building skills; adept in developing high performance and dedicated teams that meet challenging corporate objective with innovative ideas. Dana also has a deep understanding of how to utilize marketing tactics, such as media relations, advertising, direct marketing, web, video and social media for high impact and effectiveness.
Roger Martella is GE's Chief Sustainability Officer and head of engagement, government affairs, and policy for GE Vernova. In his role, he is responsible for leading a comprehensive and cohesive approach to sustainability for GE as it relates to current issues and emerging trends in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG). Roger joined GE in 2017 as Director and General Counsel, Environmental Health and Safety. Roger also served as General Counsel of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where he was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate, and the Principal Counsel for Complex Litigation for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Natural Resources Section. Prior to GE, Roger co-lead Sidley Austin LLP's global environmental law and climate change practices. Roger is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and serves on the board of the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES), the Environmental Law Institute, and several environmental NGOs and energy think tanks. Roger has co-authored and edited four books on the intersections of ESG, climate change law, international environmental law, and human rights, including co-editing the recently published Corporate Social Responsibility—Sustainable Business: Environmental, Social and Governance Frameworks for the 21st Century (Wolters Kluwer 2020). He also teaches a first of its kind course on International Environmental Law and Justice at Howard University Law School. In 2022, the Racial Justice Institute recognized Roger with a Racial Justice Champion Award. Roger is a graduate of Cornell University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. Roger also holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
Jeanne-Mey Sun serves as Vice President, Sustainability, at NRG Energy, Inc., where she leads the company’s sustainability strategy. Key priorities include working to achieve NRG’s target of having a net-zero carbon footprint by 2050 and advancing sustainability solutions and standards for new and existing NRG customers. Prior to joining NRG, Jeanne-Mey was Executive, Energy Transition and Clean Energy Solutions at Baker Hughes Company, the global energy technology company. At Baker Hughes, she led the development and operationalization of the company’s energy transition strategy which included writing the company’s commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, building a portfolio of low carbon solutions, and working with key customers on joint carbon footprint reduction efforts. Other leadership roles at Baker Hughes included leading strategic growth initiatives and corporate strategy. Prior to Baker Hughes, Jeanne-Mey was Vice President, Strategy at Sysco Corporation, the global foodservice marketer, distributor, and supply chain company, and Principal at global management consultancy A.T. Kearney, where she served clients in multiple industries including consumer products, retail, and automotive.
